As part of our transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions. The Digital Sales organization is an organization with a charter to accelerate Microsoft’s growth in its cloud-first, mobile-first businesses along with the traditional businesses.

A Digital Sales Enterprise Support Specialist focuses on generating and qualifying opportunities, drives, and closes Unified Support renewals, and remains engaged with our customers to ensure they are supported throughout all stages of their product lifecycles. As a Digital Sales Enterprise Support Specialist, you will develop deep business acumen across Microsoft’s portfolio of products and services and hone your solution sales and networking capabilities by leading consultative customer conversations and collaborating on the planning, orchestration, and execution of end-to-end cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with internal, external, and partner stakeholders.

The focus of the Digital Sales Enterprise Support Specialist role is to drive and close Microsoft Enterprise Support opportunities to ensure customers are supported throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, improving their health and enabling customer outcomes and consumption. The Digital Sales Enterprise Specialist leverages Microsoft’s unique expertise, including direct access to product teams, to help customers use their Microsoft investments as productively as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution – Acts as a thought leader across solution areas to advise customers across business functions on digital transformation, drive robust deployment and create business value for customers by Identifying and facilitating removal of blockers to consumption by partnering with internal and external stakeholders

  • Scaling & Collaboration – Leads the sales orchestration to proactively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders as well as leveraging and expanding relationships with partners

  • Technical Expertise – Leverages and shares competitor knowledge across solution areas as a subject matter expert to inform decisions on pursuit or withdrawal

  • Sales Excellence –Manages the end-to-end sales and delivery success of the assigned territory; conducts forecasting for accounts and develops a portfolio and territory plan to drive intentional selling aligned with strategic priorities aimed at maintaining levels of client satisfaction

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ yeas of technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

  • 2+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience.

  • End to End Selling Motion Experience

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $29.62 - $64.23 per hour.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $48.37 - $69.18 per hour.

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $36.44 - $79.62 per hour.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $60.96 - $86.11 per hour.
