The IT Transformation Consulting Team at DELL EMC is uniquely positioned to help customers in their Transformation Journey to make them relevant for the next decade. This niche team of consultants work across the globe work with the Dell EMC global fortune 500 customers in

Defining their Transformation Road map As part of Dell Multi Cloud & Operating team, we help customers realize their potential and embark Cloud journey by providing roadmaps, financial analysis and execute the strategy through patented approach.

As a Consultant, you will be architecting and leading complex projects, contributing to Intellectual Property (IP) and Offer development activities, facilitate “current state / future state” multi-discipline workshops, participates in strategic planning with the Dell Account Teams and Customer project teams, develop solution vision and scope for customer initiatives, work with Customers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and integration challenges, coach and develop junior consultants while providing oversight on multiple projects. Please note domestic customer travel may be up to 50%.

You will:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their existing VMware and Azure environments, evaluate workloads, applications, and infrastructure to determine migration feasibility.

• Create migration plans, considering factors like compatibility, performance, and security, migrating virtual machines (VMs) from VMware to Nutanix AHV.

• Transitioning workloads from VMware ESXi to Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), migrating VMs to Nutanix clusters on AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Proficiency in Nutanix solutions, including Nutanix Cloud Platform (NCP), AHV, and Nutanix Prism Central,

• Advise clients on best practices for Nutanix deployments, optimize Nutanix clusters for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Essential Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in virtualization architecture, design, and implementation, virtualization technology proficiency – VMware / Nutanix.

• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere virtualization platform, including ESXi, vCenter Server, and VMware vSAN.

• Strong expertise in Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure solutions, including Prism management, AHV virtualization, and Acropolis Distributed Storage Fabric (ADSF).

• Experience with Nutanix cluster deployment, configuration, and management, sound understanding of Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) concepts and implementations.

• Experience in designing up to medium complexity solutions with hybrid or private cloud architecture.

Desirable Requirements

• VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or VCIX are highly desirable.

• Nutanix certifications such as NCP, NPX, or NCAP are highly desirable.
