Campus: Rose Hill (RH) - Bronx

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Evening Manager of Custodial Services, the Cleaner I (Nights) provides cleaning and portering services throughout the University complex.

This position requires hours from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Essential Functions:

Provides cleaning and portering services in both academic and residential University buildings.

Removes recyclables and trash in accordance with University procedures.

Delivers mail in the buildings.

Rearranges furniture and does move jobs when requested to do so.

Keep building entrances and perimeters free of snow, ice, leaves, garbage, etc., as the need arises.

Must sign in and out for all keys.

Assumes responsibilities for all types of floor and carpet work.

Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Six (6) months to one year prior cleaning experience or related experience.

Minimum Salary: $2,430.40

Maximum Salary: $1,944.00
