As a Payroll Specialist you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll using Paylocity software. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of payroll principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.   • Managing the end-to-end payroll process, including both salaried and bi-weekly employees utilizing Paylocity.

  • Stay up-to-date on Paylocity software updates and best practice

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and benefits.

  • Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries regarding benefits.

  • Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding process, including facilitating new hire orientations.

  • Managing employee leave requests, time off, and attendance records.

  • Overseeing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Providing HR support to employees, answering their questions and addressing concerns.

  • Assisting in performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.

  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives that support the company's overall HR strategy.

  • Maintain service award program and other employee relations programs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with specific experience using Paylocity software

  • strong understanding of payroll principles and regulations

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification a plus
